MAKTEK SMART, the pioneer of digital transformation in manufacture is prepared to open its gates for the first time at Tüyap Fair Convention and Congress Center. The fair is bringing the leaders of the sector together as it offers a wide range of actual solutions from robotic systems to autonomous technologies.The long-awaited fair of the manufacturing technologies sector, MAKTEK SMART – New Generation Machines, Smart and Autonomous Manufacturing Systems Fair will be opening its gates, for the first time, at the Tüyap Fair Convention and Congress Center on 5-8 November 2025.
The first ever event organized in its sector, the fair is held by Tüyap Fair Organization Group in cooperation with Türkiye’s leading industrial association TIAD (Machine Tools Industrialists and Business Association), MAKFED (Turkish Machinery Federation), and ROBODER (Robot Integrators and High-Tech System Manufacturers Association). The fair also assumes a major role in technology transfer.

İlhan Ersözlü, General Manager of Tüyap Fair Organization Group, who delivered a speech at the press launch where participants were briefed about the Fair: ”We are excited to see that MAKTEK SMART Fair is being held in Istanbul Tüyap Fair Convention and Congress Center on 5-8 November 2025 in cooperation with TIAD, MAKFED, and ROBODER. This fair is being held for the very first time in Türkiye. It is the only platform that aims at realizing digitalization in industrial manufacture and the Industry 5.0 vision. We embarked on the road with the motto of 'digital revolution of industry’ and we will be offering several innovation to the professionals of the sector ranging from robotic integration to machinery intelligence, industrial software, and autonomous technologies. Murat Akyüz, Chairman of the Board of TIAD (Machine Tools Industrialists and Business Association) noted that they are preparing for a brand-new fair enabling the Turkish industry to get to know the innovative manufacturing technologies and said: “MAKTEK SMART will serve as the meeting point of smart and artificial intelligence-based manufacture technologies which will be enriched by the knowledge transfer of the firms. On the other hand, Adnan Dalgakıran, Chairman of the Board of MAKFED (Turkish Machinery Federation) Adnan Dalgakıran said the following: "Currently, doing does not mean everything any longer. What matters in the 21st century is cooperation and skill of organizing events. As we look back to the history of humankind, we see that change has gained a major impetus in recent years. We do not know what we will see in 5 years from now. Our focus should be on the skill to change. Instead of resisting the change, we should put the question of ‘How different can we do what we are doing now?’ at the center of our mindset. MAKTEK SMART is an event that goes beyond the conventional way of organizing events which is hinged simply on ‘doing’. Machinery, robots, software or electronics are not adequate on their own. What matters is a merger of all these tenets. This Fair will serve as a major step forward on how we may guide people to a different way of thinking, and how we may enhance organization skills and cooperation.”
